Power Grid & Telecom Networks
Design and construction of power grid networks — from connections to transformer stations. We work with distribution network operators across Poland and abroad.
LV/MV connections
Construction of LV and MV power connections for industrial, commercial and residential investments. We run the whole process — connection conditions application, DSO coordination (TAURON, PGE, Enea), detailed design, construction and acceptance. The investor receives a finished connection with a complete documentation set and never corresponds with the operator directly.
Included
- Connection conditions application
- Detailed design
- DSO coordination
- Construction and acceptance
- As-built documentation
Required certifications
“The entire LV connection process handled by ALTECH from A to Z. Clean documentation, deadlines met.”
Cable lines
Laying LV and MV cable lines — in trenches, cable ducts and on racks, on routes measured in kilometres. We use YAKXS, NA2XS(F)2Y and other cables to the design, and carry out terminations, jointing and post-laying measurements. We own the earthworks and cable pulling equipment, so our deadlines do not depend on third parties.
Included
- Cable route design
- Trenching and sand bedding
- YAKXS/NA2XSY cable laying
- Joints and terminations
- Insulation measurements
Required certifications
Transformer stations
Construction and modernisation of 15/0.4 kV transformer stations — containerised, indoor and pole-mounted, delivered turnkey together with the MV connection. We install transformers, MV and LV switchgear, metering and protection systems, and hand the station over after commissioning and grid operator acceptance.
Included
- Building and execution design
- Container or brick station
- 15/0.4 kV transformer
- MV and LV switchgear
- Commissioning and DSO acceptance
Required certifications
Overhead networks
Construction and reconstruction of LV and MV overhead lines — spun concrete poles, prestressed masts and steel structures, insulated AsXSn and bare AFL conductors. We work with our own boom lifts, including on reconstructions requiring outages, work under DSO supervision and the dismantling of old lines.
Included
- Overhead line design
- Concrete/wood/steel poles
- AsXSn or AFL conductors
- Line accessories
- Measurements and acceptance
Required certifications
Telecommunications networks
Construction of fibre-optic and copper telecom networks for operators, industrial plants and large-footprint facilities. We lay cables in ducts, splice fibres, perform OTDR measurements and deliver handover documentation in the format required by the operator.
Included
- Network design
- Fibre or copper cables
- Fibre splicing
- OTDR measurements
- Acceptance protocol
Required certifications
Telecom duct systems
Construction of telecom duct banks from RHDPE, DVR and microduct systems — complete multi-way runs with SK cable chambers, on investment sites and within road lanes. Road crossings are made by pipe jacking or directional drilling, without breaking up and reinstating the surface.
Included
- Route design
- RHDPE/DVR pipes
- Cable chambers SK-1/SK-2
- Road crossings
- As-built survey
Required certifications
HDD directional drilling
Horizontal directional drilling up to 200 m long with diameters from 63 to 315 mm — under national roads, railway tracks, rivers and the infrastructure of operating plants. The trenchless method shortens the schedule and removes surface reinstatement, which on large linear investments is often decisive for the deadline. Every bore is preceded by a geotechnical route analysis.
Included
- Geotechnical analysis
- Pilot drilling
- Reaming
- Pipeline pulling
- Drill survey
Required certifications
